NIKON DIFFERENCE APP

What is the Nikon Difference App used for?

The Nikon Difference App is an interactive tool designed to enhance the in-store experience. It includes a library of packages and documents, a sales support questionnaire, and lens simulations. It facilitates discussion with your patients, allowing you to make personalized recommendations and let them virtually try out different options.

Is the questionnaire mandatory to obtain lens recommendations?

The questionnaire is necessary to generate lens recommendations tailored to the patient's profile. It feeds the selection algorithm based on age and prescription. However, you can access the comparison and simulation tools directly from the Lens Selector home page.

Why do I need to enter patient information before starting the questionnaire?

The initial information, such as age and prescription, allows the algorithm to define the patient's visual needs and guide the recommendations.

Examples:

Patient A, 39 years old, +1.00 addition → likely recommendation: RelaxSee.
Patient B, 62 years old, +2.50 addition → likely recommendation: SeeMax Ultimate Z.
Patient C, 31 years old, no addition → likely recommendation: SeeMax Infinite.

Why are lens choices not saved at the end of the questionnaire?

The final selection is not saved in the app. Instead, it is intended to reinforce the patient's commitment to their decision. If you wish to save the results, we recommend taking a screenshot at the end of the process.

What should I do if I lose the interactive ring?

The ring is essential for using the simulation kit. If you lose it, please contact your Nikon business partner, who will be able to send you a new one.

What is the difference between digital simulations and demonstration placemats?

Both tools are designed to illustrate the benefits of different lenses. However, simulations offer a more immersive and interactive approach, particularly suited to the new generation of consumers who are looking for experiences and trials. If you use Nikon Apps, including the simulation modules, the use of placemats is optional.

SENSITIVITY APP

When should I use the Sensitivity App?

The Sensitivity App is used when ordering SeeMax Ultimate Z or SeeMax Infinite lenses. It allows you to incorporate the wearer's visual sensitivity parameters to design an even more personalized lens.
You can access it through the app or directly in FP Fit Pro via the fingerprint icon at the top right of the results screen.

Why do some results appear as negative values (–)?

The results generated are not performance scores. They do not indicate success or failure. They are used solely to feed the N.O.D.E. algorithm in order to optimize lens design based on each wearer's unique visual sensitivity.
